Set alongside a 3km stretch of the stunning Atlantic coastline, Mazagan’s world- renowned 18-hole course, was designed by the renowned Gary Player, who has been called one of the greatest golfers in the history of the sport. Player’s design incorporates the natural landscape of the region, follows the gentle curves and slopes of the dunes, to create a course that is both beautiful and challenging.

The course itself is 6,885 yards long, with a par of 72. The fairways are wide and inviting, while the greens are expertly maintained to ensure a smooth and consistent putting surface.

One of the standout features of the golf course at Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort is the stunning scenery. The course is set amidst the natural beauty of the Moroccan coastline, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and the surrounding dunes. Golfers will also encounter a variety of natural features, including sand dunes and natural vegetation, that add to the challenge and beauty of the course.

In the spirit of environment conservation, the dunes and valleys throughout the course have been crafted entirely with sand found on site. The grass variety, “Paspalum Platinium”, chosen for the course was selected because of its environmentally friendly growth cycle, requiring less water, fertilizer and pesticides. Additionally, in line with the resort’s fundamental principle of respect for its environment, 80% of the irrigation needs of the golf course are covered using recycled effluent water from the resort’s water treatment plant.

In addition to the main 18-hole course that is perfect for beginners or those looking for a more casual round of golf, the course is also home to a state-of-the-art practice facility, featuring a driving range, golf academy, putting green, and bunker practice area, where golfers can hone their skills before taking on the main course.
